In the item shown and offered here, the fine focus knob (micro focus) is mounted on the left end of the shaft. Please note that the left and right knobs are identical - however, screws of different lengths are used to attach them: the left knob is attached with a 12 mm screw, while the right knob uses a 16 mm screw.
