This specific item was used with the Lomo Polam P-312 microscope, i.e., with an EPI reflected light illuminator. The RMS-thread objective is mounted on a suitable sleeve that allows using the objective in Lomo MIN-6 / Lomo MIN-8 / Lomo MIN-1 / Lomo Polam microscopes. Of course, the objective can be unscrewed and another objective can be screwed into the sleeve. The Pol adapter also allows centering the objective relative to the entire optical path - this requires tools (wrenches / tools).
