These eyecups are fitted onto microscope eyepieces ... and serve two main purposes: - they allow the user to comfortably rest their head against the eyepieces, reducing neck strain during prolonged microscope work (this is not possible with soft rubber eyecups) - they block stray light entering from the sides, reducing reflections and improving image contrast This offer includes 2 (two) pieces, i.e. one pair. A few quick facts: - these eyecups fit PZO eyepieces only - these eyecups fit only PZO eyepieces with a mounting diameter of 23.2 mm - these eyecups DO NOT FIT older PZO eyepieces with a knurled outer edge - an example of such eyepieces can be seen in the last gallery photograph - the last gallery photograph shows an example of these eyecups installed on microscope eyepieces Important: no dimensions are provided here.
