Mechanically, this condenser is mounted on a dovetail guide located beneath the microscope stage.

Several important notes:

  • this pancratic condenser is compatible only with the Carl Zeiss Jena Lumipan microscope
  • this condenser is not compatible with the Carl Zeiss Jena Nf or Carl Zeiss Jena Nu / Nu2 microscopes, even though the condenser used in those models is very similar
  • this condenser does not include an iris diaphragm because the Carl Zeiss Jena Lumipan microscope has its aperture diaphragm located in the microscope base, directly below the condenser
