Description

Kosmos Stuttgart 50:1 N.A. 0,82 vintage 50x microscope objective

Microscope objective for older microscopes (so called antique, vintage microscopes).

Manufacturer: Kosmos-Stuttgart
Model: 50:1 N.A.0.82
Magnification: 50x
Thread: RMS
Tube length: 170 mm (?)
Focal length: 37 mm

At that time (most likely in the 1960s) the objectives mounted in microscopes from different manufacturers looked very similar. Many microscope manufacturers ordered objectives from large optics manufacturers (e.g. Leitz Wetzlar) and then only engraved their own names on them. Compare this objective with another one which in the database has number 00618).
Because of this, these objectives can be used with microscopes from many other manufacturers.
