Lomo Progress M-9 (Lomo M9) - a cap/lock that protects the microscope revolver tube from excessive lowering.

In the last photo, I've tried to show which part I'm referring to. Many other models don't have this feature, and its role is performed by a locking screw.

This is a locking cap that prevents the revolver tube ( =- LINK -= ) from being lowered too much. It's somewhat similar to the top cap that protects the spring.
