Objective lens with centered objective adapter for the Meopta EPI polarizing microscope.

The objective lens shows no signs of use - it is in perfect cosmetic and optical condition. Items in this condition are rarely found on the secondary market.

The RMS thread objective is mounted in a centered adapter (holder), which allows:
- precise centering of the objective relative to the optical axis,
- use of the objective in microscopes with EPI (polarized) reflected illumination,
e.g.:
- Meopta RU-2
- Meopta DRU-3

The objective can be unscrewed at any time, and another RMS thread objective can be screwed into the adapter.

According to Meopta documentation (DRU-3 microscope brochure), the objective mounted in this adapter can be centered within a range of approximately +/- 0.7 mm relative to the observation axis.
